The skatepark is made up of 2 areas:
The
street area is a 30mx20m concrete surfaced area with
a combination
of 3 to 6ft transition ramps arranged
in 2 arcs facing a pyramid/funbox combination feature.
This fun box is 3 ft high and combines 8No. 15’ and
20’ flatbanks for maximum hip value, and a set
of steps with steel box rail from a 6x12 ft platform.
To one side of the street area between
the lower 3ft transitions, with wider platform areas,
is a multi
step block combining 1ft, 2ft and 3ft ledges with
a mini driveway.
The other side of the street area
flows seamlessly into
the bowl area.
This bowl area is the rejuvenation
of
the old tarmac bowl with new drainage gullies
and a roll in concrete
surface though out. The centre of the bowl
has been completely modified to become a 6 ft street
spine between
2 volcano
features, with full coping. In addition opposite
one side of the street spine is a 6 ft elevated
6ft
transition
crating a perfect 17ft wide 6ft half pipe.
At one end of the bowl the concrete
roll in is toped by
a
1m high
vertical wall ride.
